Workshop—Coppélia
World-renowned choreographer Jean Paul Comelin brings extensive international experience to the ranks of the Classical Ballet Theatre.
After training with the Paris Opera Ballet, Mr. Comelin appeared as principal dancer with the London Festival Ballet and National Ballet of Washington, among others. He has served as Artistic Director, Chroreographer-in-Residence and Guest Artist for ballet companies around the world and currently sets his work for major ballet companies.
Mr. Comelin has worked with some of the most famous names in dance, including George Balanchine, Rudolf Nureyev, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Anton Dolin, John Butler, Andre Eglevsky, Anthony Tudor, and many others. He has performed in some of the most beloved ballets, including Raymonda, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Serenade to name just a few.
