After arriving in the Land of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara and her Prince are greeted by a series of “sweets” who perform for them. Our variations include the “Trepak” dance, the “Mirlitons,” and the beloved Sugar Plum Fairy.
The Russian variations were last performed at the Slavic Featival on September 29, 2007, in McLean, Va. Please watch for future production dates as they become available.

An excerpt from the premier ballet “Tom Sawyer” based on Mark Twain’s novel, “Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” This coming-of-age tale describes the adventures of a mischievous red-head and his attempts to woo Becky Thatcher.

Premiered in London in 1845 and re-staged in 1941 by Anton Dolin, this ballet has been performed by many ballet companies around the world.

Mr. Saburov holds classical repertory and other master workshops at CBT studios in Herndon and is currently staging his original ballet, Tom Sawyer, with Classical Ballet Theatre. Mr. Saburov’s workshops are open to all dancers with requisite training.
